Since Class 1 have returned to school the children have been very busy learning all about dinosaurs.  The children have made a a dinosaur silhouette. Don’t they look amazing!

Dosbarth Mrs Curtis have created a gallery in the classroom. Everyone has re-created a famous piece of artwork, this is linked to the work we are doing in Language, Literacy and Communication, based on the book ‘Framed’.

Dosbarth Mrs Curtis have been using what they have learnt about light and reflection to make a periscope. In groups they were given a shoebox, two mirrors and some sellotape. 

After a few attempts they all worked it out.

The children in Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne made ‘The Three Bears House’ out of junk modelling that they had collected. The children spent time making furniture, bowls of porridge and one even had a shower in!

For this week’s welly walk the children in Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne have been learning about senses, so we walked up the lane and collected natural materials to make our own crowns!

For this weeks welly walk, Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne walked up Smatcher Hill and took part in a scavenger hunt! We found insects, mushrooms, worms and a squirrel. We had so much fun!
