Dosbarth Miss Powell had a fantastic first session with Mrs Freeman learning to use the pcornets and pbones!

On Tuesday, Year 3 and Year 4 invited Gladestry Church in Wales Primary School over for the day. We created artwork in Expressive Arts, participated in Health and Wellbeing with netball games and finished the day with a brilliant Louby Lou’s Storytelling workshop based on Welsh Folk Tales, Merlin & The Red Dragon & Cantre’r Gwaelod. Dosbarth Miss Burgyone also had a fantastic morning exploring Dragons & Castles and Merlin & The Red Dragon! Dydd brysur! Busy day!

We are immensely proud of all learners in Dosbarth Miss Powell and Dosbarth Mrs Smith who demonstrated resilience, determination and encouragement at the cluster cross country event. Da iawn pawb – We are so proud of you!

Dosbarth Miss Powell have been learning how to control a drone. We have also explored the important safety rules and regulations that apply to drone technology.

Continuing with our learning of the importance of Dydd Gwyl Dewi, Dosbarth Mrs Smith listened to the story and then participated in an online quiz. All learners got very excited when seeing their team name on the leader board against other Welsh Schools.

Then we ended the day by creating our own conversation animation on Scratch in club this afternoon. Learners worked well in their groups to follow simple instructions and adapt each stage as they wished with the end goal of two characters greeting each other or having a dialogue yn Gymraeg.

Criw Cymraeg led Gemau Cymraeg after our assembly this morning, as part of our St David’s Day celebrations.

Dosbarth Miss Powell participated in a Saint David’s day themed Adobe Express Learn Live session with DigiDom. Learners developed their digital skills to produce a banner. Da iawn!
