What we have been doing in PSD
In Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne, the children have been learning about what makes a good friend and they made their own recipes for friendship in their PSD lessons.

Our Trolls
The children in Class 1 designed and made a scary troll out of recycled materials that they collected from home.
This week’s Welly Walk
For this week’s welly walk we collected lots of natural materials ready to make our very own troll!
The children were very creative making their trolls and they all looked different.
Class 1 Welly Walk
For this week’s Welly Walk, Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne walked up Jack’s Green in New Radnor. We saw lots of bridges and even spotted where we think the troll may be hiding! 
Once Upon a Time
Our topic in Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne this term is ‘Once Upon a Time’. We have begun the topic by focusing on the story of ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ which the children are really enjoying. We have acted out the story on the trim trail outside, we have made our very own goats, and this week we have innovated the story to make it our own! The children have also made their own rafts using recycled materials for the Billy Goat to cross the river and then tested them in water to see if they floated. Luckily the goat arrived at the grass safe and dry!
