Last week Dosbarth Mrs Curtis joined forces with Gladestry Church in Wales School and took part in the Royal Academy of Engineering Collaborative Project 2022. Each group worked on a design for their own inventive marble run. We were so proud of how well the both schools worked together and finished their challenge in the time given. On Friday afternoon we joined in the live presentation and were awarded the Collaboration Award and have won a 3D printer for school. Da iawn pawb!!!
What an awesome day! Of course Dosbarth Mrs Curtis and Dosbarth Miss Powell had to visit a theme park, as part of our ‘Theme Park Thrills’ learning theme. It was brilliant to observe the science in real life, and have lots of fun! Da iawn pawb!
Dosbarth Mrs Curtis and Dosbarth Miss Powell have applied their understanding of how rollercoasters operate to begin creating their very own rollercoaster. Lots of fantastic discussions, explanations and teamwork.
