Sinfonia Cymru
We had a fantastic afternoon at the Hub to watch Sinfonia Cymru perform. Learners were inspired by the talented musicians and had the opportunity to explore body percussion, ask questions and some even adopted the role as “conductor”. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
Bronze Ambassadors
On Friday our Bronze Ambassadors had an excellent session with Maggie Trainor and learnt lots of new activities they could use with our Health & Wellbeing session. They worked hard with Maggie to be confident to give clear instructions and run the session. They have then used these skills they learnt to carry out a team building activity along with Dosbarth Miss Powell. Da iawn Bronze Ambassadors.
Coronation Tea Party
DIOLCH YN FAWR
A huge thank you to all those who joined us this afternoon, and for those who baked cakes for our ”Coronation Tea Party”. Da iawn to all the learners who have worked hard this week in the build up. A special shout out to the Criw Cymraeg for serving the cakes, and supporting parents to use their Welsh language skills!
Team Building
Dosbarth Miss Powell finished the week in the glorious sunshine. We developed our team building skills in Health and Wellbeing. Gwaith wych pawb.
Clwb
At After School Club this week, the learners took the opportunity to enjoy the dry weather by working in teams to make their own dens outdoors. We had some wonderful creations and great team work. Bendigedig pawb!
Earth day
Dosbarth Miss Powell and dosbarth Mrs Smith have been learning about Earth day this week. Learners have made Earth Day posters to share their knowledge about this subject.
Pcornets and pbones
Dosbarth Miss Powell had a fantastic first session with Mrs Freeman learning to use the pcornets and pbones!
Storytelling Workshop
On Tuesday, Year 3 and Year 4 invited Gladestry Church in Wales Primary School over for the day. We created artwork in Expressive Arts, participated in Health and Wellbeing with netball games and finished the day with a brilliant Louby Lou’s Storytelling workshop based on Welsh Folk Tales, Merlin & The Red Dragon & Cantre’r Gwaelod. Dosbarth Miss Burgyone also had a fantastic morning exploring Dragons & Castles and Merlin & The Red Dragon! Dydd brysur! Busy day!
Cluster Cross Country
We are immensely proud of all learners in Dosbarth Miss Powell and Dosbarth Mrs Smith who demonstrated resilience, determination and encouragement at the cluster cross country event. Da iawn pawb – We are so proud of you!
