Dosbarth Miss Burgoyne wanted to find out why there was a dragon on the Welsh flag and have learnt about the story of ‘The Red Dragon of Wales’. We created our own dragons using natural materials, and then thought carefully about what we could say to our dragon to make it feel like it belongs in New Radnor, exploring the language of empathy. The learners did an excellent job of using their imagination and creative skills to make their own dragons and came up with great ideas for what they could say to it.
